About Bell Financial Services
After spending the first 8 years of my life in King's Lynn, Norfolk I was further raised in Hawkesbury Upton, South Gloucestershire. My interest in rugby started at a young age and my first true experience of the game was at Bath Rugby where I played for the 'minis' at the tender age of 9 years old. I may be a sentimental old fool but I particularly like the fact that my rugby both started and ended with Bath Rugby as my final appearance was with them before finally retiring aged 37 in 2012 with over 200 appearances in 9 years at the club.
My rugby career started when I was just 19 years old, back in the days when the game was still played on an unpaid basis and over the years I made appearances for Harlequins, Ebbw Vale, Sale Sharks and Pontypridd amassing a total of 500 games over 18 years
I was lucky enough to gain five international caps during my time as a professional rugby player with my first for England being against Italy in 2005 and my last against New Zealand in 2009, which fulfilled a lifelong ambition to play against the All Blacks.
I am also a Level 2 RFU qualified coach and Scrum Doctor for league teams in and around the South West (please go to the contacts page for info and quotes for rugby sessions).
In 2007 I studied for and passed my CeMAP qualifications for mortgage and insurance broking. I created Bell Financial Services shortly afterwards and have been providing advice for people from all walks of life ever since.
